Optimism Brought to you by the Gus and Gia Puppet Show Because we live in an ever changing world, where our balance can be thrown off without a moment’s notice, it is important to rely on those things that we can control. The way in which we view difficult times, difficult people and difficult circumstances offers two varying roads from which we must choose. If we choose to fall prey to any one of those aforementioned, the destination of joy will be nearly impossible to achieve, but if we instead choose to forgo the negative mindset and allow ourselves to focus on what is possible, what is within our control and what we choose to feel, then we can choose optimism. Optimism is defined as a positive attitude towards the general future, or towards a particular outcome.
